about

After John Mitting left, the band continued as a 4 piece, recording the single 'Hope You'll Be There' as a four-piece in 1984.

Soon after Tony Bartley joined the band as lead guitarist and he performed on the B-side of the single 'Time and Tide'.

The band produced a film clip for the single, directed by Tom Yallowley. The clip was played regularly on local TV shows in Brisbane.

They played venues as a headline act from Noosavilla, to Caesars Palace (Ipswich) to The Piggery (Byron Bay) before relocating to Sydney in late 1985.

Ian Davies won best Rhythm Guitarist in the 1984 Queensland Rock Awards. They were also a well sought after support band supporting bands like John Paul Young & The Eurogliders and The Bay City Rollers.

'Step Away' features on the compilation album 'The Bremer Beat: 1980-86' and was not on the original single release.
