about

A little peak into the VERY early days of Purple Avengers through these previously unreleased recordings.

'Guido The Croissant' was recorded at a rehearsal in the Target Building in 1989. The studio version was never completed, so this song was never released.

'Leaves' & 'Hanging Ten At Blood Beach' were part of the band's first ever recording session and were done at School of Audio Engineering in 1989. These are the versions that were on cart at 4ZZZ but had no official release.

'Leaves' was re-recorded for our album Starlight's Journey Home released in 1991.

The photos (including with download) were taken in 1989/90 and are from the rehearsal room in the Target building that we shared with Batswing Saloon and The Cutters (and one on the roof of the building).
